Turning the pith. How often you turn the pith over determines the intensity of the fragrance; the more often you turn it over, the stronger it will be. To modulate the effect, only a few can be rotated.
The fragrance duration. Excessive room size, high temperature, direct sunlight, and exposure to drafts are factors that can accelerate evaporation and thus reduce the fragrance duration. Place the diffuser away from light, heat sources, and drafts, and consider a diffuser size appropriate to the surface area of the room.
Suggestions for endless fragrance. To make a fragrance last longer, it is useful to keep the liquid in the bottle always at the level of the curvature, so as to reduce the evaporation surface.
