Cooking
Protect yourself by always using potholders when handling hot utensils.
We recommend using only Le Creuset silicone utensils or those made of wood or heat-resistant plastic. DO NOT use knives or metal utensils to avoid marks and scratches on the vitrified surface of the product.
Use the product on the most appropriate size cooktop ring: it will make cooking food more even and reduce the risk of damage to handles and sides. This è especially important for induction cooktops: if the wrong size ring is used, there’è s a risk that the cooktop will not “recognize” the product.
Medium or low heat cooking produces the best results. Have the pan heated gradually for extraordinary flavors and even cooking. If è it is necessary to use high heat, lower the’intensityà once the desired heat level has been reached.
Do not slide the product onto a glass cooktop because it may cause damage to the base of the product and the glass. Always lift the product to support it, move it, or remove it from the surface.
