High 1-handle 18/10 stainless steel casserole

Material

Long-lasting, resistant to everyday stresses, dishwasher-safe and with a 7mm thick bottom that incorporates an aluminum disc inside allowing the heat to spread evenly on the bottom, but not evenly on the walls. Stainless steel cooking utensils are ideal for all those preparations in which the food does not come in direct contact with the material on the bottom or walls, such as boiling, poaching or for steaming.

 Thermal Conductivity

È the material considered by chefs, as “bad” conductor of heat for some types of preparation. Because of its low conductivity “direct” però it lends itself to be excellent in other types of work, such as in boiling , where the conductivityà is given by the internal liquid and not directly by the material.
